M5.7 Earthquake Hits off Coast in El Salvador

 

A primer 5.7 extent seismic magnitude earthquake 43 kilometers off the bank of El Salvador Thursday night, not a long way from the country's capital San Salvador, as per the US Topographical Overview.

 

El Salvador is the littlest country in Focal America, with adjoining Guatemala toward the north and Honduras toward the east and south. The nation is vulnerable to catastrophic events like quakes and typhoons.
